Our services

Everyday support, coordinated with care

Faith Care Residential offers residential support in a home setting. Our staff help with daily life, skill-building, and routines, and we coordinate closely with each resident's own doctors, counselors, and case managers.

How we support residents

The services below describe what Faith Care plans to offer. Final details will be confirmed as we complete licensing and will be explained to each resident before admission.

Licensing status: Preparing to open

Faith Care Residential LLC is preparing to open as a Residential Treatment Home. We are not yet licensed by the Oregon Health Authority, and we cannot accept formal referrals or admit residents until a license is issued.

24-Hour Residential Support

Caring staff on duty around the clock, every day of the year, so support is close at hand whenever it is needed.

  • A calm, reassuring presence in the home day and night
  • Help with daily routines when a resident asks for it
  • Prompt response to urgent needs and emergencies
  • Communication with each resident's support team, with consent

Mental Health Recovery Support

Everyday encouragement toward each person's own recovery goals, alongside the treatment they receive from their providers.

  • Encouragement to build on personal strengths and interests
  • Support practicing coping and wellness strategies
  • Help noticing early warning signs and reaching out for care
  • A stable, predictable home that supports ongoing treatment

Faith Care is a residential home, not a clinic. Therapy, psychiatric care, and other clinical treatment are provided by each resident's own licensed professionals. Our staff support and coordinate with that care.

Medication Assistance and Coordination

Help taking medications as prescribed, with secure storage, careful records, and clear communication with prescribers.

  • Medications given only as ordered in writing by a licensed prescriber
  • Secure storage and accurate administration records
  • Support for residents who are able to manage their own medications safely
  • Prompt communication with prescribers and pharmacies about questions or concerns

Only a resident's licensed prescriber can prescribe or change medications. Staff who assist with medications complete the training Oregon rules require.

  • Help finding local activities, classes, and groups
  • Transportation assistance and community navigation
  • Support for work, volunteering, or education goals
  • Freedom to take part in the faith community of one's choice, or none

Appointment and Care Coordination

Help keeping track of appointments and staying in touch with the professionals involved in each resident's care.

  • Scheduling help and appointment reminders
  • Arranging transportation to appointments
  • Coordinating with case managers and the local community mental health program
  • Sharing information with providers only with the resident's written permission or as the law allows

Medical, dental, psychiatric, and counseling services are provided by outside professionals. Faith Care helps residents connect with and keep up with that care.

Oregon standards

Requirements every licensed home must meet

These are not extra services — they are minimum standards that Oregon Administrative Rules (Chapter 309, Division 35) set for every licensed Residential Treatment Home. Faith Care Residential must meet them as a condition of licensure.

  • Staff on duty at all times

At least one direct care staff member must be on duty 24 hours a day.

    OAR 309-035-0135

  • Screened and trained staff

Staff need an approved background check, pre-service training before working alone, CPR and First Aid certification, and annual ongoing training.

    OAR 309-035-0135

  • Assessment and service planning

Each resident receives an assessment within 14 days of admission and a residential service plan, developed with them, within 30 days.

    OAR 309-035-0185

  • Safe medication practices

Medications are given only with a written order from a licensed prescriber, and are stored securely and documented accurately.

    OAR 309-035-0215

  • Emergency preparedness

Homes keep an updated emergency and disaster plan, and every resident takes part in an evacuation drill at least once every three months.

    OAR 309-035-0145

  • Resident rights and HCBS standards

Residents keep their civil and human rights, and the home must meet Oregon's home and community-based services standards for choice, privacy, and community access.

    OAR 309-035-0175

  • Fair grievance process

Residents can raise concerns informally or through a written grievance, with set response times and the right to appeal.

    OAR 309-035-0183

  • Confidential records

Resident records are kept confidential and secure, and are shared only with written permission or as the law allows.

    OAR 309-035-0130

Finding the right fit

What Faith Care is not

A Residential Treatment Home provides 24-hour support in a community setting. To help families and referral partners find the right level of care, please note that Faith Care is not:

  • An inpatient psychiatric hospital or crisis unit
  • A nursing home or skilled nursing facility
  • A substance use disorder treatment program
  • A secure (locked) residential treatment facility

If someone needs one of these services, their case manager or the local Community Mental Health Program can help identify appropriate options.
