Life at Faith Care

Everyday life in a home that feels like yours

A good day at Faith Care looks different for every resident. Here is a glimpse of the everyday experience we are creating — comfortable, respectful, and shaped by each person's own choices.

Home life

Comfort, choice, and a place of your own

Comfortable, home-like living

Welcoming shared spaces, a real kitchen, and private space that residents can lock and decorate to reflect who they are.

Respectful daily routines

A steady household rhythm that offers structure without rigid schedules. Residents decide when to wake, rest, and spend time with others.

The everyday experience

Growing, connecting, and enjoying life

Individual choice and independence

From what to wear to how to spend an afternoon, residents make their own decisions, with support available when they want it.

Healthy meals

Home-cooked meals with resident input on menus, attention to dietary needs, and access to food at any time.

Personal development

Opportunities to learn new skills, pursue interests, and work toward goals such as education, employment, or a more independent home.

Meaningful activities

Activities chosen by residents, such as gardening, games, music, art, walks, or movie nights — inside the home and out.

Community participation

Visits with family and friends, local outings, faith communities of one's choosing, libraries, parks, and volunteer opportunities.

Supportive staff relationships

Staff who know residents by name, listen without judgment, and offer encouragement grounded in respect.

An example day

What a day might look like

This is only an example. Every resident sets their own schedule, and no two days are alike.

  1. Step 1: Morning

Wake up on your own schedule. Breakfast, a cup of coffee, and any morning medications with staff support if needed.

  2. Step 2: Midday

An appointment, a class, a shift at work, or a quiet morning at home. Staff can help with transportation and reminders.

  3. Step 3: Afternoon

Time for chores you've chosen, practicing a cooking or budgeting skill, a walk, or a visit with family.

  4. Step 4: Evening

A shared dinner, a game or a show, phone calls with friends, and winding down in your own space.
