Faith Care Residential

About us

A home built on respect, steadiness, and hope

Faith Care Residential LLC is a Residential Treatment Home in Clackamas County, Oregon, created to give adults living with mental health conditions a supportive place to live and grow.

Who we are

Faith Care Residential is a small, home-based residence for up to five adults with serious and persistent mental health conditions. We believe that where a person lives shapes how they heal — and that a calm, respectful home can make a meaningful difference in someone's recovery.

We are building Faith Care around a few simple ideas: know each resident as a whole person, keep the household small and steady, and work closely with the people and professionals who are already part of each resident's life.

We believe in people — in their dignity, their strengths, and their ability to grow. Residents are always free to practice their own beliefs, or none at all; spiritual participation is never required.

Our mission

To provide a safe, supportive, home-like environment that promotes recovery, dignity, independence, and quality of life for every adult who lives with us.

Our vision

A community where every person, wherever they are in their mental health journey, has a place to belong and a path toward the life they choose.

Our values

What we stand for

Compassion

We meet people with patience and kindness, especially on hard days.

Dignity and respect

We honor each person's history, culture, identity, and right to make their own decisions.

Self-direction

Residents lead their own goals; our role is to support, not to direct.

Safety and stability

A predictable, well-prepared home helps people feel secure enough to grow.

Honesty

We communicate openly with residents and, with their consent, with the people who support them.

Belonging

Everyone deserves to feel welcome — at home and in the wider community.

Our commitment to dignity and independence

Living in a residential home should never mean giving up control of one's own life. Residents have private space they can make their own, choose how to spend their days, welcome visitors, and take part in community life.

Independence looks different for everyone. For some, it means learning to cook a favorite meal or ride the bus to an appointment. For others, it means preparing for a move to a more independent setting. We meet each person where they are and celebrate progress of every size.

A person-centered philosophy

Person-centered care means the resident's own voice shapes their support. Each resident helps create their residential service plan, and their goals, preferences, and strengths come first.

This approach reflects Oregon's home and community-based services (HCBS) standards, which emphasize choice, privacy, and full access to community life for people receiving residential services.

A supportive home environment

Faith Care is a house, not an institution. Shared living spaces, a kitchen where meals are made, and outdoor space for fresh air are part of daily life. With no more than five residents, the home stays quiet and familiar, and staff have time to listen.

  • Dignity: Every person is treated with warmth, courtesy, and respect.
  • Choice: Residents direct their own lives, routines, and goals.
  • Privacy: Personal space, belongings, and information are protected.
  • Safety: A calm, prepared home where people can feel secure.
